Winter Carnival

Last weekend we took the boys on and outing to the St.Paul Winter Carnival. I did this with Isak a few years ago, and had a great time.

It is amazing the amount of work that goes into these sculptures.

The boys had a fantastic time posing in front of each sculpture and acting like little vulcans.

They really had a great time running through the snow maze and hiding from Mom and Dad!

Just fun stuff

I have been watching my niece Kayla a couple days a week since this fall. The boys have enjoyed having her around. On this day they decided to make a picnic. Isak laid out a blanket and put all the toys around them so the wind would not blow the blanket away. What a good imagination.

Isak has been doing a lot of reading with the boys at night. They really seem to enjoy the bonding time together.

Grandma gave all the boys matching pj's for Christmas. On the nights that one of them is wearing the pj's the other two want to wear there matching pj's.

Christopher & Harrison's 1st Dentist Appointment

After Christmas I took Christopher and Harrison in for there first Dentist Appointment. I had previously brought them both in with Isak so they could see how it all worked. Harrison went first and was being a little shy.

Then he pulled it together and had a great check up!

Christopher went second and had to be just as silly as Harrison.

Thankfully our Hygienist Lisa has two boys herself and knows how to handle them. She just let them work the chair and they were putty in her hands.

They both did great and really enjoyed picking out a prize at the end.

Cant let Christmas go!

For several days after Christmas Isak felt sad about Christmas being over. So he decided to become Isak Claus to make the season last a little longer. For two nights in a row he dressed like this. He even went to bed wearing it! He also was wrapping up all of his toys for each person in the family. He was re using my gift bags, but I finally had to tell him to stop because he was using up all my tape. This picture is one I will share with his future girlfriends.

Christmas

This year we hosted Christmas Eve at our house. Bob, Kristi and their clan were not able to join us, so we had a quieter celebration with Nana, Papa & Kathy and Scott.

Christmas morning was very fun this year. I feel like it went by like a blur. The boys opened every thing in a matter of minutes!

The rest of the day we spent relaxing and enjoying each other and all the new toys that Santa brought we are truly blessed!

Our little Angel

Isak had his first Christmas concert at school. All of the kinder's were angel's in the program. He was so excited to perform for us. He was singing for weeks around the house.

Mark and I decided to split up the performances. I took the boys and Grandma & Grandpa Thul to the after noon concert.

Nana & Papa went with Mark to the evening performance.

He did a great job, and was so proud!

Blizzard!

Our next snow experience was one that I will never forget. We had a blizzard and the boys could hardly wait to get out and play in it. It made it easy for Mark & I while we shoveled out!

At least they were having fun! We ended up with 20 inches of snow!

Mark's work holiday party was cancelled for the night. Thankfully we still had our sitter that lives 3 houses down from us. Cabin fever was setting in fast with three very active little boys! Travel was impossible so we decided to walk up to the village for dinner. Everything was closed except for Tiffany's a little hole in the wall bar. We ended up running into some friends of ours there and had a really fun night!

Winter Fun

We finally had our first good snow of the season. The boys could hardly wait to get out and play in it. This snow was perfect for snowman making, so that is what we did!

We ended up making an entire snow family, and started to make a snow fort. We were out side for hours!
We were able to enjoy all of our hard work for several weeks until some silly teenagers decided to take the entire family down. The boys were very bummed out. At least we have these great photos to remember this fun day!
