Como Town

Mark and I won a season pass to Como Town for the boys. Last Monday was a fairly cool day so I decided to finally take them and enjoy the pass. Isak loved being able to drive his own little car.

Harrison was not sure of the magic carpet ride, but enjoyed it in the end.

They all loved the swings the most!

And then it was on the tilt a whirl with Grandma. They really enjoyed that ride as well.

A great day had by all! We will definitely do it again soon.

Trouble!!!

Mark and I stepped out of the room for a couple minutes and this is what we came back to. Mark yelled AUDREY!!! I walked in to see this and just laughed. There was nothing else I could do. There is no way to get nail polish out of a couch. So now we have nice new covers to hide the mess Christopher made. Thankfully these couches are back from Marks bachelor days so it's no great loss, although we were hoping we could get through the craziness of the preschool years before we replaced them. I guess we will be looking for something newer sooner than we thought. But I think we will wait until everyone is a little bit older.

Minnesota National Air Force Base

Last summer Mark and I took the boys to the Minnesota National Air Force Base over the 4th of July. My friend Erin said she wanted to join us the next time we went, so we decided to take all five boys last weekend.

The boys had a so much fun pretending to fly the old air plains, and learning about the old machine guns and tanks.

It was time to leave when Christopher had a complete melt down. He was clearly exhausted from all the excitement. This place is perfect for boys. We will be back again next year.

Our Big News!

Since Mark and I are not busy enough we decied that it was time to add another to our brood. We may be a little crazy, but whats one more right??

We drove two hours to Emmons Minnesota near the border of Iowa and picked out our newest addition Ginny. She is a 10 weeks old West Highland Terrier. We have had her for about 2 weeks now and we could not be happier. Well we could be happier once she is potty trained. She is sweet as pie, and the boys adore her. They have been enjoying getting to know her, and taking her for rides in the car.

Ginny also loves tennis balls. I think she is trying to tug on her Daddy's heart strings a little.

4th of July

We hung low this 4th of July and had a BBQ with the Pelletier's. The kids played in the pool, and the parents were able to catch up with one another. It was really nice not to have to deal with Holiday traffic and to feel like we could really relax.

As a special treat to celebrate the forth of July I bought Bomb pops for the kids. They just loved them. It reminded me of how much I liked them when I was a kid.

Summer fun with Grandma

It has been one hot summer! On one of the Days Grandma came over to babysit, this is what I came home to. An all out water fight between Grandma and the boys. They had an absolute blast. I think Grandma did too.

She said next time she was going to bring over a five gallon bucket so she could refill her water gun faster.

Fathers Day

This year is was Breakfast in Bed for Dad. The boys were very excited to bring it up to him. I was trying to hold the boys off a bit so Mark could sleep in, but the boys thought other wise. Despite being woken up early, I think Dad really enjoyed his Breakfast . At least he finally had a little time to rest and read his business week after the surprise was over.

Summer Sports

It has been a very busy Summer with lots of activities going on. I have been slacking on my blogging over the past few months. Isak participated in Urban Tennis through our local park and rec this summer. He has really enjoyed it. Maybe is taking after his Daddy and his Papa we will see.

Isak has also really enjoyed playing T Ball this summer. Nana and Papa even made it to a game this Summer. Isak was very proud to show them his progress. Mom and Dad are happy that all the running around has come to an end for the summer. It will be nice to have a month to relax before Isak starts Kindergarten and the boys start preschool this fall. It is amazing how fast the time has gone!
