The Dell's

Two weekends ago my friend Erin and I took our fourth annual trip to the Dells with our boys. The past two years we have had our Mom's, and Erin's three nieces and one nephew join us. To do a head count that is nine kids and four adults. We have had a great time both years, although this year topped all the trips in the past. Erin found a great deal on a beautiful suite with our own kitchen, and enough room for all of us. It was wonderful to have all the extra space, and to not have to struggle with the food situation.

Isak in the maze as we took a little break from the water action.

And then we headed right back for more. This was just one of 7 water parks. Everyone loved the wave pool!

The Golden Egg

On Easter we had the Keefe's over for brunch, and an afternoon Easter egg hunt. This year we Incorporated one of Erin's traditions from her child hood into the hunt. The golden egg. Back when Erin was hunting her Grandfather would hide the golden egg very well. All of her siblings and cousins would hunt for this egg as there was five dollars cash inside the egg. We decided to hide five golden eggs one for each of the boys and just had a dollar hidden inside.

The boys had great fun hunting for the eggs at least the ones that did not get attacked by the squirrels.

Christopher got distracted quite often for candy breaks.

William was the first to find his golden egg!

Then it was Isak!

Harrison was the last to find his golden egg. The boys were moving so fast I missed getting a picture of Christopher and Nolan finding their golden eggs. We had a great weather and a lot of fun with the Keefe family.

California Trip 2010

It has been two months since I last updated this blog. Life has been busy in the Brandt family. We have officially begun potty training the Twins as of this week. The boys are doing great, and are very excited that they are becoming big boys. So far we have had good success a few accidents and one MAJOR one. I won't go into detail so you will be able to continue reading this blog, but let's just say I earned my parenting badge for the rest of my life.

In March we took a trip to California to visit Nana and Papa. A friend of ours in Palm Desert Tara gave us tickets to Lego Land. Nana and Papa had not yet returned from there trip from Hawaii so we took the opportunity to go with the boys. It took us two hours to get there, the boys did great in the car and loved Lego Land. The weather was unseasonably cool. Only about 60 degrees the day we were at Lego Land. We think it was a good thing considering there were not very many people and the lines for the rides were short.

The water park would have been a bigger hit if the weather was just a bit warmer. The boys had fun anyway.

We had difficulty getting good pictures of every one riding on the different rides. Mark and I were split up riding on separate rides with each one of the boys.

<span class=

We also headed out to The Living Dessert. This is and annual trip.
