Ouch!

Last night while getting dinner out of the oven I heard a loud thunk! And then a very loud cry. I walked over to Harrison laying next to the coffee table, and this is what I found. Mark took him into Urgent care last night, and they glued his forehead back together. He now will have a matching scar to Christopher that did the same thing almost a year ago!

This afternoon it was like nothing ever happened. I hope the scar heals nice!

A visit from Arlene & John Then and now

Last Thursday Marks Aunt and Uncle from California stopped in for a nice visit. They were here on there annual trip to Minnesota, and we were able to get the chance to visit with them for the evening. This Picture was taken back in September of 2005!

Marks Birthday!

Last Tuesday was Marks Birthday. We celebrated with a Pizza Party in the porch.
And of course Finding Nemo was the movie.

For Dessert I made Carmel Banana Cream Tiramisu. It was very good.

The boys really loved it! Mark and I were able to get out Saturday to One of our favorite restaurants Origami for a Birthday dinner.

Isak's First Day of School

Isak is in his second week of his final year of preschool! He was so excited to start, he kept asking me every day for weeks, is this the day I get to go to school? When it came down to the day I think he was a bit nervous.

<span class=

Mom had to get her annual back to school picture in.
Then it was off to check out his new room, and meet his new Teacher.

<span class=

This is Isak and his Teacher Ms. Sue she is so wonderful!

<span class=

And this is how I left him. He is becoming so grown up. The first week they did a music study, the author they studied was Bob Marley. I asked Isak what he knew about Bob Marley. He said Mom he has beautiful Cinnamon skin. I said yes he does honey. When I told him his Mom and Dad had Bob Marley music he was shocked. That night we listened to Bob Marley over dinner.
His teacher says he is very attentive, and asks allot of questions. He is off to a great year!

The State Fair

Last Sunday we took the boys to the State Fair. The first stop was to get our favorites, a foot long, cheese curds, pronto pup. The list goes on. Then it was off to machinery hill. The boys really had fun here last year, so we thought it would be even better this year. It was!

Next it was off to the kid midway The boys loved the rides! I thought this one looked cool, I could not resist going with Isak. It was really fun!

Photobucket

This is the only ride the twins were big enough to go on. They were really upset to get off!

We did not get home until about 8 pm the boys and Mom and Dad were wiped out! Another successful year at the Fair!

Labor Day Kids Parade

On Monday our neighbors had a parade in honor of the end of Summer and Back to School.

The Childrens Museum

This past Tuesday we went to the Children's Museum with Grandma. We have not been there in a really long time. It is to hard for me to keep track of the boys going off in three different directions! The boys really had a great time exploring everything.

<span class=

The Clifford room was really fun, and the boys loved getting to meet Clifford!

Driving the Bus was another big Highlight. It was nearly impossible to get Harrison to move from this exhibit.

<span class=

The Big Move

Since about 18 months Christopher and Harrison have been climbing out of there cribs. The crib tents have been a wonderful band aid for this problem for the past 7 months. I have had to replace a zipper, and felt since we borrowed the crib tents from friends, and they are $80 bucks a piece, we did not want to risk any further damage! So last Friday we moved them into Big Boy Beds! This decision was a hard one, because we knew how hard it would be to get them to stay in bed!

<span class=

This is day one of nap time. They both cryed at the gate for it seemed like forever, and then it was quiet. I went up to check on them and this is what I found. Christopher comforting Harrison so preciouse!

<span class=

And this is Christopher on Day 2 of naps. I have to say I am surprised they are even napping! I thought naps would be a thing of the past since they share the same room.

<span class=

It has been a full week, and a very hard week. Christopher wants to climb the gate until all hours of the evening! And this gives Mom and Dad very little time to get anything accomplished! We have been trying different tactics all week, but nothing is working all that well. We think tomorrow we will be getting rid of the gate and installing a half door so they can not get out of the room. We will see how this works out stay tuned.
