One busy weekend!

We headed up to the lake right after Isak's last day of school for the Memorial Day weekend to spend some time with Nana and Papa. Isak wanted to do some fishing so Mark and Isak went out to the end of the dock to try it out. Isak caught his first fish a rock bass.

He was so excited but a little nervous to touch it.

The next day Mark and Isak went out again. They casted out the first time and right away they had a bite. Mark thought it was another rock bass. When Isak said Dad I cant hold on any longer he realized he had more than a rock bass on the line. He had a large mouth bass. I think I was more excited than Isak. I have never caught anything that big in my entire life. Call it beginners luck!

Isak also decided it was time to take off the training wheels, and try to ride on two wheels. Even though he has been hardly using the training wheels for the past year. I think he just needed to feel confident enough before the training wheels came off.

<span class=
And of course he did great!

<span class=
He needed a little help getting started.

<span class=
But once he did there was not stopping him.
We were so proud, and so was he!

Harrison and Christopher had a great time riding as well. It was a great weekend.

Isak's Last Day of Pre Shool

It is so hard to believe the our little boy has completed pre school and is off to Kindergarten next year!

I never thought I would be emotional about it. Although when it came to the very last day and saying good bye to Isak's wonderful teachers the tears were flowing.

We are so proud of Isak. He has blossomed into such a confident happy boy in the last two years and we have Ms. Sue, Ms. Penny and Ms. Anne to thank. They have been so loving and giving with all the kids and Mac Plymouth. We will never forget them.

I am just thankful that we still have two more years with this amazing pre school. The Twins will be starting this fall.

More space to play

We have had a very busy spring already. Our patio has had some major issues with low spots due to it not being installed properly. We have ignored it for several years, although this winter was ruff with all the ice that formed at the bottom of our steps. Not real safe with little ones that are not great on their feet with out the ice. Mark and I decided it was time to fix the patio along with adding a little bit more on to it so the boys had some room to ride there trikes and bikes.

This is the area that we added to It used to be grass. We also added a walk way down the West side of our house. This will make it so much easier to get out to the front of our house.

The Boys were so excited to watch the cement truck. It was great entertainment for them.

<span class=

Here is our new walk way we just love it!

Here is the finished product the boys have so much more space to move about. We also even have space for a wading pool. We have already spent more time out on our patio than we ever have. It has been a labor of love but worth it in the end.

T BALL

Isak Started T Ball this month he was a little nervous about playing since he has never played before. Mark gave him a pep talk before they started practice.

<span class=

They were able to play a little catch before practice started.

<span class=

Isak was first up to bat. He hit the ball and didn't drop the bat. Every one was yelling to drop the bat. Isak got really upset, he started crying and didn't want to play any more. Thankfully Mark was right their to comfort him and get him back in the game.

<span class=

He made it all around the bases and had a renewed sense of confidence as he made it across home plate.

<span class=

The coaches rotated the kids around the field to let them try different positions. The kids hit a few more times. Isak had a great time. He even had fun swooning the ladies on the team.

<span class=

He told me after his game was over "Mom I love T Ball so much I wish I could play out their forever". It is just what we wanted for him. It will be a fun summer.
