Vacation at the Lake

We spent this past week up at the lake for one last hurrah before the fall comes. The water was a bit chilly, when your first got in. This did not deter the boys one bit. To sum up the week it was all about the water! Swimming, boating, tubing and snorkeling. We had a hard time getting them out of the water.

At night it seemed the boys came alive again. It was wrestle time, and Circus mania.




Nana did all the story times at night. Isak was trying to keep his eye's open during the flash. To funny! We really had a great week! Thanks Nana and Papa for everything! We made great memories!

Our new favorite hide out!

The Boys recently found the cabinet under the sink is a great new hide out. One or both of them are in there all the time! It drives me a bit crazy, as they are right under foot as well. At least I know where to look for them.

Mark's Graduation!

Mark had his graduation ceremony on Saturday afternoon at Orchestra Hall. My Mom, Marks parents and Isak were all in attendance. Christopher & Harrison were napping at home. After the ceremony we went to celebrate at the Local. Some of our friends met us out to toast the graduate, then it was off to Capital Grill for a fantastic dinner. Our Friends Dan & Juli joined us. They were celebrating their 7th wedding Anniversary. So many wonderful things to celebrate this weekend!

The Boys 2nd Birthday part 2

We celebrated the Boys 2nd Birthday with Grandma, Nana &Papa on Friday night. We had a wonderful Pineapple Teriyaki pork tenderloin! Mom tried a new Snickers Cake out, (Very Rich!). The Boys enjoyed opening gifts, with big brothers help. It was wonderful to have everyone together!

Christopher & Harrison's Birthday Part 1

For Christopher & Harrison's second birthday we celebrated by going out for pizza at Tommy Chicago's in Mendota Heights. Great Pizza, but not the best service. The boys had a great time getting messy! After we came back home, we headed out for National night out at our neighbors house. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to the boys. We had cup cakes and root beer floats for dessert. Nana & Papa are coming into town this weekend to celebrate some more.

Getting measured up this is a tradition in our house. On your Birthday we get measured to see how much you have grown. Christopher is 2ft 10 in. Harrison is 2 ft 11in they are still exactly two pounds apart! Christopher 28 lbs & Harrison 30 lb.

Potty Training?? And Random things.

I guess the most exciting thing that happened this week, is both Christopher & Harrison had there 1st tinkle on the potty! They have been watching Isak, and have been getting interested. So we decided to take them up on there interest, and broke the pottys out. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come!

About a week ago we went to the Japanese gardens for a Moms club event the boys had a wonderful time running around and looking at all the coy in the ponds.

Christopher & Harrison have been enjoying playing dress up with goggles, and Mommy's shoes. These pictures will be pay back someday to show to there girlfriends.

Isak has really been having fun with reading to the boys. I try and catch them in the act with the camera, but they always seem to catch me.

We are looking forward to the boys 2nd Birthday next week, and Marks MBA graduation ceremony!
