Isak's 6th Birthday

The day started off very snowy! The forecast was calling for a big snow storm. We almost canceled the party, but decided to go ahead considering it was early in the day.

<span class=

We packed all the kids we could fit in our car, and headed to Edinborough park.

<span class=

It was a great choice because it was very quiet. The snow scared everyone away. It was like we had the place to ourselves!

<span class=

The boys ran, jumped and played all afternoon.

<span class=

At the end of the day they were ready to refuel with some cake & ice cream.

<span class=

William W, Isak, Joey, William K, Charlie and Nolan were wiped out!

Isak had a great Birthday with some great friends!

Zoo Trip

Since Isak was about 3 he has been asking me to ride on a school bus. I always told him that someday it will happen. I was lucky enough to be able to capture his first experience on a school bus. We took a field trip with his kindergarten class to the Minnesota zoo.

Isak waiting to get on the bus with his friends Ava & Natalie. He was a little nervous not wearing a seat belt on the bus.

<span class=

The chaperone's were all given 3 to 4 kids for the day. Isak was paired with Natalie and Ava. two girls he thinks are pretty cute. I agree they are adorable!

The two kindergarten classes at the end of the day. We all made it!

Halloween!

Grandpa Thul gave us another one of his big pumpkins from his garden. It was a joint effort deciding what kind of face to carve into it. The boys were so excited about Halloween this year!

<span class=

Harrison dressed as Link from Monster vs Aliens. He was not crazy about wearing the mask.

<span class=

Isak dressed as Iron Man.

<span class=

Christopher as Spider man.

<span class=

We made it around the block and that was as far as they wanted to go.
Isak was more excited to hand out candy to the big kids.

Pumpkin Patch

It has been and extremely long time since my last post. Isak spilled a little water on my computer and zapped the mother board in my computer. That ended my blogging for awhile. Thankfully Mark came to my rescue, and fixed my computer! So I am back in action!

This fall we did our annual trip to Whistling Wells with our friends to get some pumpkins. Unfortunately the apples were damaged by a hail storm we had this summer. Despite not being able to pick our own apples The boys had a great time.

The Boys 1st day of PreSchool

Last week we had an open house for Christopher and Harrison. As you can see they thought there new class room was very fun!

<span class=

<span class=

And the gym was even better!

<span class=

So today they were thrilled to go to class, and turn in there collage's.

<span class=

They turned the collage's in to Ms. Rita. Christopher had a lengthy conversation with her about his collage. Ms. Rita's husbands name is also Christopher Brandt so our little Christopher has a special place in her heart already.

<span class=

Harrison turned his collage in, and wanted to move away as quickly as possible.

<span class=

They both did great at school today, and both reported they were excited to go back tomorrow!

These are the days to remember!

Isak's First day of Kindergarten

Wow where does the time go? It seems that just yesterday we were bringing this big kid home from the hospital. Last week we sent him off to his first day of kindergarten.

<span class=

Isak was getting irritated with how many pictures we were taking.

<span class=

He would not give me a nice smile just silly faces.

<span class=

A quick pep talk from Dad, and one more snap shots with Mom and he was off to class.

<span class=

<span class=

Harrison helping Isak find his locker. We all walked Isak to class, and Christopher and Harrison did not want to leave him. When Isak got home from his first day he did not say much. We were unsure how he liked his school. As the week has gone on he has made some new friends, and really seems to be enjoying his new school. We are excited to see what the year will bring.

A Date with Mom and Dad

Mark was able to get free tickets to Target field, so we decided it would be great to take Isak and give him some one on one time with us before he heads off to kindergarten in 2 weeks!

We were able to sit inside the Budweiser suite. We had as much free food as we could eat.
This was Isak's first time to Target field. Mark & I 's second time. These seats were awesome!
